One of the most iconic new drama series from Greece, The Witch from JK Productions, part of Kapa Studios for Antenna, has been ordered for a second season to premiere in the fall of 2024. The first season finished airing in Greece in early summer and has attracted a lot of international attention. The Witch is set in 1817 in Ottoman-occupied Greece. In the unconquered region of Mani, two rival families are united by marriage and the birth of their first son. When the child disappears, a young maid’s vision leads her to the missing infant. As her visions intensify and suspicions of witchcraft emerge against her, she must find the infant’s kidnappers to save herself and avert a civil war that could end all hope of revolt against Greece’s occupiers. The series is distributed internationally by Antenna Studios.
